Following the news that the UK government will be proceeding with lifting most of the legal restrictions in place to control the spread of Covid-19, we wanted to provide an update on the safety measures that will be in place at The Jamie Oliver Cookery School beyond 19 July.
Ahead of your class:
On the day:
For the time being, NHS Test and Trace will remain in place at The Jamie Oliver Cookery School and you will be required to check in on arrival as well as sanitising your hands and having your temperature checked.
If you record a high temperature and are therefore asked to return home, but otherwise did not have coronavirus symptoms and had not been advised by the NHS to self-isolate, you may reschedule your class at no additional cost within 6 months.
During the class, guests will not be required to wear a mask and social distancing measures will not be in place. However, current government guidance recommends that people continue wearing masks in crowded indoor areas and our teaching staff will continue to wear masks where possible to maximise the comfort of our guests. It is down to individuals to decide if they wish to wear a mask.
While we will not require evidence of vaccinations or negative test results, we do recommend that you use your own judgement to decide whether or not you feel safe to take an in-person class with us at this time.
As always, we will also continue to maintain a high standard of cleaning in between classes. If you have any further questions about our safety measures beyond 19 July, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us via email or phone. You can find our contact details here.
